I base my lesson plans on this widely recognised, tried and tested approach: - concentrating on the key topics, - beginning with starter exercises, - modelling and explaining the subject matter, - completing tasks with the pupil, - setting independent practise questions and scenarios, - reviewing and evaluating, considering common misconceptions, - finishing with a plenary or activity to finish, often with a short, fun 'brain break' between topics.
