A bit about Lewis B

I am a Maths and Physics Tutor specialising in online tuition for GCSE, KS3 and A-Level. I have over 1000 hours of tutoring experience in which students have made brilliant progress in the tailored lessons I offer. Recently graduated University of Nottingham with 1st Class MEng Degree in Aerospace Engineering. I specialise in Maths and Physics online tuition with centring around KS3, GCSE, and A-Level across all major exam boards in the UK (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). I have tailored lessons to a variety of ability levels and have incorporated students interests into the lessons I teach ensuring students are consistently engaged and participating. My lessons are planned to ensure maximum engagement and student participation. Lessons can be in the form of revising previously taught content, homework help or exam practice. I began tutoring nearly 4 years ago and have significant experience tutoring in both Maths and Sciences online and in person. In Maths, I enjoy teaching the 'why'. Students are often taught the methods for topics but sometimes don't fully grasp why those methods work. So, when time permits, I find it essential to teach the 'why' behind methods so my students have a more secure understanding of what they are trying to achieve in their questions.
