Bev is a superb tutor. She has huge knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject and her energy is infectious. My daughter was very hesitant to try online tutoring but Bev made her feel very at ease and motivated her to want to do well. She clearly knows the curriculum and exam boards very well and was able to offer advice and tips to make the exam more manageable. Bev also offers excellent resources to supplement her teaching and repeatedly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was ready for her exam. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Fully trained teacher of Humanities with over twenty years of teaching experience, many as a Head of Department in busy secondary schools, successfully raising GCSE results in History and RS; the two best subjects on the curriculum! Nearly 20 years of experience in exam marking with Edexcel Pearson for the RS and History GCSE papers has given me an excellent understanding of GCSE exams, giving me great insight into how to coach students to pass them. (It's all about the skills and exam mark scheme. And some content too, of course.)
