A bit about Raphael Y

I specialise in anything Engineering- and Economics-related. I can help you with complex maths and physics problems by guiding you towards the most appropriate tools. I also specialise in languages and can tutor French at all levels Usually we will have a talk about what you know, we will go over the examples given in class and relate them to our surroundings and then we will try an exam question together I first started tutoring in 2020. I used to tutor university peers who were in the year beneath in mechanics. I then tutored GCSE, IB and A-level students in maths, physics and chemistry in the subsequent years. The problem-solving! AQA, Edexcel, French Baccalaureate. Usually Y10 and up. The space for initiative. It does not matter if you make mistakes. Actually, you need to make mistakes to progress. So please do (not fully intentional ones, of course!), try things out. We will be able to work together to get to the bottom of what you need to achieve! Hi, I'm Raphael. Welcome to my class. I recently graduated from some of the UK's top universities, currently design mathematical models, and would like to share some of my knowledge. Some of my key interests in science are operational research (the science behind Maps getting you where you need to be, fastest) and Economics. I used to be terrible at maths in high school and, ironically, I now teach it. I know tips and tricks to leapfrog some of those obstacles! I can also teach French as a native and have tutored languages throughout my education. I am an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer. What do you enjoy doing outside of your school day?
