I am a qualified Business teacher with over fifteen years' teaching experience at all levels of education. I have extensive knowledge of varied curricula and examination boards and proven success in helping students achieve their goals. Together we can work on your progress and help you reach the next step on your path. Resourceful, approachable and helpful would best describe my style. Business Studies teaching with a focus on understanding, application, analysis and evaluation. I can help you understand the content material and how to focus on the demands of exam questions. I have an industry background, so I can illustrate the learning with real life experiences. My lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs. If you need knowledge reinforcement we can focus on quizzes and ways to remember theoretical knowledge. Exam technique will focus on learning and practising how to approach exam questions and improve technique. A variety of learning strategies will allow you to adapt your learning to suit your needs, including videos, presentations, infographics, past papers and model answers. A lesson of one hour will include a variety of activities which will focus on knowledge acquisition through vocabulary and definitions, analysis of business activities and concepts and evaluating different options and outcomes for businesses. We will work on identifying current knowledge, expanding and applying that knowledge to real life business scenarios using different input methods such as multimedia, class discussion, individual work, reading and researching. A lot of satisfaction comes from assisting students on their learning journey. The guidance and support tutors can offer to help students move forward in their education is very rewarding.
