A bit about Maha

My name is Maha. I’m a 5th year medical student. I have done a biomedical science degree BSC hons from queen Mary university of London. I love teaching alongside. I have done tutoring for over 5 years, online and in person. I specialise in teaching science especially biology and chemistry. I start my lessons with going over content first, making sure the student remembers main points from previous lessons. Then I start to focus on exam questions, as I believe a students knowledge can only be tested via exam questions- this I’ve learnt from my own experience. In the end we mark the exam questions, see what questions we got wrong and re-ask them in the next lesson. I started tutoring 5 years ago I love science especially biology, because I feel like there’s nothing better than knowing about your own body and the environment around us. Go over Content first Do some exam questions on the topic we studied Mark them together My favourite thing about being a tutor is to be able to share my knowledge even outside of the subject to make lessons more interesting for students. Always attempt exam questions as I believe they give you the best hint on what you could expect on the exam day! They love that as well as teaching the lessons are very engaging and interesting. My goal is to never leave the student on their own because I believe doing it together and saying it out loud helps you remember content more. I have BSC hons in biomedical science And I’m currently a 5th year medical student. I always loved teaching since very young. Having a lot of knowledge from both my degrees motivated me to pass it on others. I love going to the gym and I love reading. I’ve thought students from year7 - gcse
