A bit about Mr Arif

I am an English teacher, teaching in the North West. A love of reading and creative writing. Enjoy teaching both Language and Literature with a real focus on Exam Preparation too. I specialise in English Language and Literature at both KS3 and KS4. Now with a TEFL qualification to help EAL students too. AQA is my preferred exam board. Outside of teaching I’m a keen cook and love to work out. I have an all encompassing love of movies…just nothing too scary! Firm but fair and with a flair for humour. Lessons should be productive, engaging and fun. The 'lightbulb' moment when a pupil has finally cracked it. Whether that's learning how to construct a paragraph or deconstruct a poem. The look on their face is priceless!
