A bit about Rayan S

Hey! I'm a computer science student at Newcastle University. I chose computer science because I love problem-solving. It is my passion to want to solve, through the use of technology, the biggest problems. My lesson structure will compose of 10-15 minutes of me teaching the student material, followed by 40-45 minutes of the student answering questions and ending with a 5 minute review of what we learnt, what we'll learn next and any questions the student has. As the student progresses, I will modify the structure so that the student is spending more time with exam-style questions. My favourite aspect of being a tutor is witnessing the "aha!" moment when a student understands a challenging concept. It's incredibly rewarding to see their initial frustration melt away, replaced by genuine understanding and newfound confidence. Watching students overcome academic hurdles and blossom into self-assured learners fuels my passion for education and motivates me to continuously refine my teaching methods.
