A bit about Adam

When the student is ready... The teacher will appear! With my own initiative I was able to achieve academic success. With my help I can help you achieve your goals alongside some first hand experience of how to get there! Currently studying my in my final year at university with several years of teaching under my belt, I can equip you with the skillset to excel in your exams. Maths and science are my speciality. For several years now I have helped students just like yourself achieve the grades they have wanted. Particularly GCSE maths and science as well as ks3 level maths and science, I can help you conquer your grades whatever the level is. I started tutoring at the age of 17. After receiving my GCSE grades I immidietely began to utilise the skillset and gain first hand experience teaching. 6 years later I have a much larger toolbox equipped with weapons to help you make a killing out of your exams! I've tutored privately as well as for companies so I am familiar with a wide spectrum of students and their abilities as well as how to help them conquer. A recap from the last lesson is essential. Any gaps must be filled before we can progress down the national curriculum! Gaps in knowledge hold the equivalent to missing points in your exam, hence why I heavily appreciate a recap and strengthening the last topic before we progress onto our next one! What made me fall in love with teaching was the satisfaction knowing that I am able to make such an impact on young peoples lives. I still remember my tutor who helped me pass my a-levels and that has shaped me into becoming a well rounded individual. Tutoring is more than having a teacher, it's about having someone on your team! I am laid back as I strongly believe the teacher appears when the student is ready. Given that the student is ready, we can quickly progress through topice whilst having a laugh. However I am also aware that students do sometimes require that extra push in order to get back onto the path to success. Regardless of which type of student you are, I am very flexible in catering towards an individual students needs. Providing the right support to help achieve that higher grade is a rewarding experience and something money can't buy. Tutoring has allowed me to change lives and help students shape their future, hence why I love it! When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready... The teacher will disappear. Teaching is more than just a job. A teacher is someone who inspires the student to give of their best in order to discover what they already know! Experience is the best teacher. Students have informed me that they heavily appreciate the depth of which I go into individual topics. This depth allows students to understand a topic from the bottom up. Just like a pyramid built to absolute perfection, the national curriculum is structured with a strong base that builds on more challenging topics!
