A bit about Nikol

I work as an English Tutor at a nearby college, focusing on ESOL, Functional Skills, and GCSE courses for students aged 16 to 50+. My role involves assisting students in exam preparation and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere. In addition to teaching, I develop resources, provide mentorship to newly qualified teachers, oversee programme management, and coordinate exams. Seeing my students progress and achieve their goals. Seven years ago, while at university, I started tutoring as a small side job. It quickly evolved into my true passion. Since then, I've found immense fulfillment in sharing my knowledge and guiding students to reach their goals. I've been teaching ESOL, Functional Skills, and English GCSE at a regional college since 2020. I help students with different levels of English, manage classes, and give exams. I also work one-on-one with 16-18-year-olds to prepare them for their exams. I use different ways of teaching and get on well with students from different backgrounds. Before this, I taught students with special educational needs (SEN) from 2020 to 2023. Also, I have been tutoring privately since 2017. I teach students from 3 to 60 years old and help them improve their English.
