Chloe is an experienced History tutor and will shortly qualify as a secondary school teacher.

A bit about Chloe O

I have experience with AQA, Edexcel and OCR at GCSE level and can confidently teach both the content and the skills needed to achieve high end grades with these. I also have experience with years 7-11 so can tutor in KS3 as well as KS4 I have a BA degree in History, from Royal Holloway University of London which covered a wide variety of topics but also allowed me to specialise in modern European history. I am currently completing my Teacher Training year and have gained experience at two contrasting schools through this. I wholeheartedly love teaching the larger classes, but smaller groups enable me to give a much more personalised learning experience, something I hope to continue in Tutoring. From experience, I am able to adapt my lessons to suit the needs of the learner. I fully understand the complexities of learning history and I am not afraid to say that if done badly it can be a bore. I alway aim in my teaching to help the pupils explore the story and make judgements as historians themselves. This is not just applicable for the KS3 either, as my GCSE classes have seen lots of engagement and intrigue into the historical mystery.
