A bit about Victoria F

I am a New Zealand Qualified Teacher, who is a passionate and experienced business, economics, and financial literacy teacher in public, private, international, and national schools. Most recently, I was a Senior Advisor (Curriculum Design) at the Ministry of Education New Zealand, designing and managing various projects (<$1m) to align with the National Curriculum Refresh. These projects focused on mathematics teaching and learning resources, reviews and feedback of curriculum and assessment, and input into best practice pedagogical strategies to raise student progress and achievement and support teachers. My experience as a classroom teacher, nationally and internationally, across years 10-13, included self-evaluation and reviewing subject area(s) performance to ensure that effective teaching and learning goals were met. This was done by reviewing teaching practices and creating individual student action plans with teaching staff and families to raise achievement levels. I am dedicated to your learning areas and needs on academic and well-being levels. This includes study skills, organisational skills, assessment and self-awareness and how to learn techniques. I have been a nanny, tutor, teacher, and curriculum designer for the New Zealand Ministry of Education. I am passionate about creating a positive societal impact and raising standards for learners academically and on a well-being level. I started teaching 2016.
