Helping children to acheive and enjoy learning as an experienced tutor
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I have been an inspiring primary school teacher for 20 years. Primary tutoring is one of a number of roles I have held, others include: reception class teaching, early years support, and support for primary school pupils with social and emotional needs. I inspire children to enjoy their education and I am passionate about building self-esteem and confidence. Through ongoing assessment and analysis of need, I engage pupils by making lessons relevant to their learning style and interests, whilst challenging them to reach their full potential. I am skilled in building the confidence of anxious learners and helping children catch up. I emphasise the importance of trying and learning from mistakes and try to relate learning to real-life experiences to make it more meaningful.
EYFS- all subjects including phonics, reading skills, fine motor skills, maths KS1 and KS2- maths I am also experienced and passionate about helping children with their social and emotional skills so that they are in a good place holistically to engage in all areas of learning. This includes (but is not limited to) confidence and self-esteem building, social skills, anxiety and resilience.
