A bit about Lucy S

I have been teaching at secondary level (11-18 years) for over ten years. I have a BA in Psychology, MA in Cognitive Science and PGCE (teaching qualification) all from Cambridge University. I am a positive and engaging tutor who will work with you to create a plan to reach your goal, whatever that may be. I will recognise your successes and support you in working hard to improve your confidence and grades. I am flexible and will agree with you whether you would like efficient sessions guided by the exam specification of your course ( for example, if your exams are fast approaching) or, if you have the time to grow your confidence and learn more about a subject I will prepare you for A level and degree level study by linking your studies to discoveries in our world. We will agree on effective ways for you to take notes or complete questions and I will regularly check that you are getting the most out of our sessions.
