A bit about Trishton

I am a fully UK qualified teacher with QTS status and have over 12 years’ experience in delivering fun and engaging Computing and Robotics lessons. Currently teach in an Independent school and have facilitated lessons based on Computer systems, Algorithms, Python, Scratch and Microbat coding. I understand the importance of breaking tasks down into quantifiable chunks in order to further develop leaner subject knowledge and exam technique. Exam Boards: OCR Edexcel Cambridge International Year Groups KS3 KS4 Year 12 I understand the importance of ascertaining the learners subject strengths and areas which require a further development, in order to improve expected results. I plan my lessons starting with introduction level starter activity and then progress onto lesson aim and differentiated learning objectives based on the syllabus. I also use science of learning techniques through retrieval grid activities linked to previous topics. I would progress onto Q&A’s based on the lesson theory, walk learners through model answer questions and progressively work through quizzes and Work sheets.
