A bit about Nazia B

After teaching Maths for almost a decade, working as the KS4 lead along with other essential roles within the schools I have the right experience and knowledge to help you and your child succeed. The resources I use when delivering lessons consists of building on one's reasoning and problem-solving skills, looking at interlinked topics that is now the heart of both the new 9-1 GCSE curriculum and SAT's tests . I am determined to ensure that you and your child receives the best help by providing tailored lessons to meet individual needs and thus ensuring I am improving your grade and of course building on your confidence. I specialise in both KS3 and GCSE Maths, by using a mastery approach for my KS3 students I ensure that they have in depth knowledge on each strands of Maths so this helps best prepare them for their GCSE's. For KS4 students I mostly focus on exam techniques looking at functional and interlinked questioning. My planning is informed through assessing and identifying gaps so it suits each individual needs. My lesson consists of a starter that is usually a recall activity based of the new 9-1 GCSE curriculum. My lessons are well scaffolded in the beginning covering topics that follows a well though out Scheme of work and ending with activities that are more problem solving/exam style question based that students be able to complete independently at this point. I have been Teaching for over 10 years and have been tutoring both face to face and Online for the past 5 years. I have access to all the latest software's and equipment that makes Online lessons very effective and engaging.
