A bit about Macy L

I love visiting galleries and museums. Anything creative really! I spend a lot of time in my local church, volunteering in lots of different areas. I also enjoy drama, so a theatre trip is a must! I have worked across different key stages, but I specialise in KS1 and KS2. I love teaching children how to read, and helping children to read is something that im very passionate about. My own teachers in primary school actually inspired me to enter into teaching. I had a lot of teachers who really pushed me to be the best that I can be, and I aim to be the same for all my pupils. I did a 3 year undergraduate degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher status. I also did a Masters in Educational Psychology! Im the fun, silly teacher... but we still get work done! I think its important to make lessons very engaging as I believe thats how we learn best. No boring lessons here! I think the best success i've had is just seeing my pupils make progress in various forms. I love seeing my pupils excel in places that they maybe didn't before. Im a primary school teacher! 3 years ago! Creating strong teacher-pupil relationships with my students!
