A bit about Andy C

I'm a qualified teacher, with a qnique skill set having taught primary schools (all subjects) in England and English as a Foreign Language in England, China and Poland, whilst I am well able to teach maths and science up to Key Stage 4. I have successfully taught online and in person. I am well qualified, with post graduate teaching qualifications in all aspects of education I have covered. I like to mix teaching styles wherever possible, remembering the 3 types of learning that we all use (visual, audio and kinaesthetic). Lessons need to be adapted for individual groups and individuals but based on structured schemes, teacher assessment and requests by students. I'm an experienced Primary School and TEFL teacher. I love teaching all ages and levels. Having taught in Primary schools for 7 years, I did some work in high schools before moving to China and Poland (not at the same time!) teaching English. TEFL: you get to meet people from different cultures and see development very quickly. Maths: misconceptions are easy to spot and correct if explained in a different way. Science: I find it fascinating myself. Primary: It gives a broad nowledge and skill set/. When I left University, I went to volunteer in a school while discerning what to do next. The students and other teachers made me apply for a professional teaching qualification within weeks! I've since worked in a number of environments, each with its own challenges but, more importantly, enjoyment. PGCE (Qualified Teacher Status) TEFL Level 5
