A bit about Eleanor B

As a qualified teacher with a 1st class degree and a Masters in Expert Teaching, I have supported many learners across KS1 and KS2. I am an avid reader of children's books as well as a new author of a fun children's picture book. As a dedicated educator and compassionate tutor, I am deeply immersed in the vibrant tapestry of the education world. My passion lies in empowering every child, regardless of their unique needs or circumstances, to help unlock their full potential. With a wealth of experience in working with children with a wide variety of needs, I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every learner thrives. Message me to book a free introductory call. I have a Masters in Expert Teaching and a PGCE with QTS. I achieved a 1st class degree in maths and physics. I started teaching in primary schools in 2018. After a few years of teaching, I wanted to support children more directly and on a 1-to-1 basis so began tutoring almost two years ago. I love educating children in schools but tutoring on a 1-to-1 basis enables me to target specific gaps in knowledge and help to develop children's understanding in that area quite quickly. This means progress is accelerated and attainment is improved. I am a huge reader! However, I only read children's books. They inspire my teaching and my pure joy of sharing these books with children helps them to also develop an excitement about reading. I am also an author. I have written a fun rhyming picture book for younger children that is in the process of being published.
