A bit about Amale

Hello! I am teacher Amale - I am passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential. I have more than 5 years of experience in teaching English and Business English as well as teaching English for specific purposes like IElTS and I specialize in creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. I strive to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. I believe in fostering a love of learning and helping students develop critical thinking skills that will benefit them both academically and in their future endeavors. I am excited to make a positive impact on the lives of my students. I specialize in teaching English to native speakers in a college level. Also as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native speakers. I also have experience in teaching English literature, writing, grammar, and pronunciation. Additionally, I have expertise in preparing students for standardized English exams such as the TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge exams. My lessons are usually structured in a way that follows a specific learning objective. I start by introducing the topic or concept to be covered, provide relevant information and examples, and then engage in guided practice or activities to reinforce understanding. I may also incorporate discussions, group work, and assessments to assess learning and provide feedback. Additionally, I like to incorporate multimedia resources and technology to enhance the learning experience. I have been teaching English since 2019. I started as ESL teacher at an American language teacher where I taught English to young learners, teens as well as adults. Then I moved to teach English in a French school where I had the pleasure to teach teenagers. Currently and since 2022 I have been a lecturer at a college. I love teaching English to both native as well as non- natives. I feel proud and happy to see the impact I have on my learners. I love to see the improvement and how excited they feel when they see how much they’ve improved. I have always got amazing feedback from my line managers and people who observe me teach and they like very much my teaching style which is pretty much student- centre and also I give so much importance to having fun while learning. BA in English studies and literature (2016) MA in Gender studies (2018) MA in Business management (2022) CELTA ( teacher training-2019) I believe in on-going training and development. As teachers we need to stay up to date with recent strategies and technologies that can help us in our teaching I have always known that I will be a teacher. Almost everyone in my family is a teacher. I’ve seen how proud they are doing their job since a young age and I’ve always loved the passion that I could see in their eyes. At a university level I was very good at public speaking and giving presentations and I loved being on stage. Also my teachers and lecturers back then told me that I will be a great teacher in the future. Now that I have been teaching for almost 5 and a half years, I know that this the only job want to do. I love dancing! I used to go to Salsa classes and I would love to go back to learn how to dance Salsa professionally. It makes me happy and very energetic! Plus, I love travelling, it makes me love life even more than I do. Learning about other cultures and traditions, researching, reading are some of the things that I love to do. I taught young learners, young adults as well as adults. Currently I am a prison lecturer, teaching +21 years old. My experience as a teacher is very interesting and exciting- I’ve taught in schools, centres and colleges as well as prison environment so I have challenged myself in different situations and I’ve learnt a lot from every experience I have been through.
