A bit about Areej H

I teach maths up to GCSE level and also tutor for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. I have been a classroom teacher for 5 years with experience of leading the maths department, which has given me deeper insight into the maths curriculum and syllabus. I make sure that I model example questions very clearly for students before expecting them to complete questions themselves. After I model the initial questions, we will then try questions together, before giving them a few to complete independently. I believe in treating students with respect, care, and making sure that they are listened to. When they are respected, they will give that respect back to the tutor and the subject.
