A bit about Kanchan

I specialise in sciences and maths, however I have abundant experience in tutoring other subjects from a range of ages. I am good at communicating difficult concepts and explaining them in a way that's easy to understand. This allows my students to gain confidence in their subjects and perform better! I usually start by asking what the student would like to focus on and what their goals are out of our session. Then I will go on to teaching the student and talk through topics they may find challenging. I believe practicing exam style questions is important for success so I also talk through exam technique and teach the students about what examiners are looking for when marking. This maximises the students performance! I love to see my students start to love their subjects as they become more confident in them. It is a great feeling seeing students start to understand topics they once found very difficult. It gives me great joy knowing the positive impact I have made! Hello, I am currently a fourth year medical student and have achieved three A*s in my A levels. My degree has allowed me to build on many skills including studying technique and has given me a greater understanding, especially in the sciences. This allows me to pass on that information to my students and build up their confidence too. I have a great passion for teaching and love to see my students progress.
