A bit about Irfan C

I am a caring and understanding person. No problem is too small for us to tackle. I want to ensure that we get the results you are looking for and we will formulate plans together to reach our goals. There is a solution to everything and I have a lot of resources and expertise to help us get there. I have been a teacher for over 6 years and have taught KS3, KS4 and also KS5. I have a wealth of understanding of modern programming languages including Java, Swift and also Android app development. I try to ask questions that will enable me to tailor my teaching to your learning. I am a fully qualified teacher with over years of experience. I am currently a head of department and I have taught in schools in London. During my time in the classroom, I have taught various exam boards including OCR, AQA and Edexcel. I really shine with Computer Science courses to KS4 students and have a plethora of knowledge for KS3 and KS5 to degree level. It is the most important subject since COVID. We have seen so much pop up online around computing and AI and its important to have a great edge in computing to get those amazing jobs! I love that it helps us in developing skills for any industry. Although I have a really excellent knowledge of the theory components of Computer Science, I really like the programming side of the course. I am fluent in Python and some other programming languages as I mentioned above. I have been tutoring (on various different websites) for the last 5 years. A bit of a recap of the previous lesson, progress made against any extra work and then move onto new content. At the end we will summarise what we have learnt and then set a new goal for the next lesson. A lot of the lesson may be done using presentations and some modelling. A bit of a cliche one, but I enjoy travelling and exploring new cuisines! I value family time and I also love a bit of DIY. OCR, AQA and Edexcel to year 7-13. I am also able to teach degree level content.
