My style is flexible, friendly but very focused on what the learner wants to achieve. I pride myself on being able to find a way to approach a task in a way that works for each student and gets results. I am particularly skilled at supporting learners to overcome issues with specific skills they may have struggled with in the past. I can help build confidence and resilience, no matter what your starting point. I have a range of teaching qualifications including QTS as a Primary School Teacher, a diploma in Teaching English and ESOL, and experience of teaching English GCSE, as well as a BA Honours in English. I can also work with learners who may be new to English. I specialise in all aspects of English teaching, whether it be improving English for everyday life, developing reading, writing and speaking skills to master the English language, or practising and preparing to pass exams. I have 20 years experience in schools and colleges and can work with all ages and levels. I also have experience of working with neurodivergant learners and GCSE candidates of all ages, as well as school age pupils needing support with Phonics and reading fluency.
