A bit about Aniso N

A first-class neuroscience graduate enthusiastic to share my knowledge of the physical brain and workings of the mind. My curiosity of why people behaviour in certain ways and how their mind contributes to it is what pushed me to study a-level psychology and find enjoyment in teaching it to others. This subject then led to my degree of choice, which allows me to provide useful background information when teaching. I have 3 years of tutoring experience so am very receptive to the different ways students learn and open to adapting my teaching style to accommodate them. I hope to get my students to become as equally excited about learning as I am! I would start by going through each page of the subtopic with the student, ensuring to explain the content using easy analogies or flowchart for any processes. I would give the student time to take down any notes then complete some set questions about the topic. Any of their questions will be thoroughly answered. Additionally, I will be teaching the critical ways to answer exam-style questions and key words/phrases to highlight. I don't intend to make the students' life harder by setting them large amounts of homework as Im aware they'd already be getting work from school; therefore their homework will simply be to complete any unfinished notes or questions we had during the lesson. I teach AQA A-level psychology as I use to study that particular exam board and have experience tutoring on the subject. Therefore, I am highly knowledgeable in its content, amount of critical thinking required and can provide exam-style questions. I usually teach students in years 12 and 13 but have previously taught those doing GCSE psychology.
