A bit about Apurva T

I'm Apurva and I'm studying Medicine at UCL. I enjoy teaching GCSE Biology, Chemistry and German, and KS3 Maths and English. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, working initially as an English and Maths Learning Assistant for First Class Learning and later as a GCSE German tutor. I have high As in A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths and 2 years of preclinical Medicine where we built on previous biological and chemical topics. I also have an A* in A-Level German and a passion for the language and culture, having been on an exchange with my school to broaden my German understanding. I believe it's important to be careful and thorough when teaching new ideas and concepts. Therefore, I aim to help with an understanding of a topic first before moving on to more complex questions. I also aim to keep in touch with parents/carers about progress and points to work on for my students, as I have done during previous work experience. I play football, tennis and cricket regularly and enjoy supporting my local football team. I also enjoy playing piano and guitar.
