A bit about Silvanus

I am a passionate Tutor who has worked in the Engineering Sector for 10 years, and I have been a science and Maths Tutor for 22 years. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Gas Engineering. I am glad to say that some of the students I mentored studied Medicine & Surgery, Engineering and technology integrated courses globally. Utilizing my natural talent in teaching/mentoring young students is my greatest fulfilment. I teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry. My subject areas are taught according to the UK national curriculum and the exams offered by the major awarding bodies, such as AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, CCEA, and WJEC. It has been my pleasure to prepare students for these exam boards for the past 20 years. I am accustomed with in-depth knowledge and skills to prepare students for 11+/13+, GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level Examinations. Motivating students to success, building their confidence and seeing them excel gives me joy. Also, being able to attract more students to Maths and science subjects because of my style of teaching. My greatest success as a teacher is being able to constantly motivate students to success to the point where they are independent and able to imbibe livelong learning skills.
