A bit about Daniel P

I first started tutoring the week after my GCSE results. I did exceptionally well in my maths GCSE, and I had some friends who needed some help on their maths work. They found it very useful and we continued lessons. I continued my tutoring all the way through my A-levels, and I managed to secure 100% on one of my maths papers and getting an A*. This solidified my experience and since then I have had a lot of business. As time went on my reputation spread, and now I have dozens of students while working part-time at University! It's always great to see my students improve and gain more confidence. Everyone can do maths, sometimes you just need someone to explain it in new ways. I will let one of my student's parents speak on behalf of myself: "Having used other f2f tutors before, I was worried that my year 9 daughter wouldn’t be able to connect or learn as effectively. But I needn’t have - the effect has been the complete opposite. Her confidence and grades have grown hugely through Dan’s patient and detailed approach. She says he teaches her in a way that she can understand - that’s individual to her - which has built her trust and means she asks more questions if unsure. Being younger also means she feels he perhaps is more relevant - ie he’s recently taken exams and is still loving his studies. I like to challenge myself, and have work experience that ranges from working in a pub, impala conservation in the heart of Zimbabwe, and M&A in London. I have many hobbies such as field hockey, football, running, photography, website development... But my favourite of all is spending time with my friends and family, and travelling with them.
