A bit about Claire

I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE (Secondary Spanish and French) and a Trinity Cert TESOL. I have 15 years of experience teaching Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level languages. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE and A-Level for both AQA and Edexcel, as well as experience examining for GCSE. I offer teaching for Year 5, Year 6 (Key Stage 2), Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 (Key Stage 3), Foundation and Higher GCSE (Key Stage 4), and A-Level. I discovered my own love of languages very early, when I was lucky enough to have a primary school teacher with an interest in French! Throughout the rest of my schooling I was very grateful to have the opportunity to learn at least two languages per year, gaining GCSEs in French and German, then later A-Level French and AS Level Spanish at college. I graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Law and Languages, before spending a year abroad in Spain. When I returned, I applied for my teacher training, and the rest is history! I have since spent 15 years working across four schools, teaching French and Spanish from Key Stage 2 - A-Level.
