A bit about Mohammed R

Research Scientist at GSK with a Doctorate in Chemistry obtained from the University of Warwick. I enjoy learning and have supervised many students throughout my years as a doctoral student. My specialties include Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Maths, and Programming mainly Python, R, and HTML. I also specialise in personal statements, cover letters, CV writing. My lessons focus on understanding what you're strengths and weaknesses are and targeting those areas to ensure that you have a better grasp of the topic at hand. I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. My role as a tutor is to create an environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas and applying them in practical ways. I enjoy teaching Maths, Chemistry and Python. A lot of the topics are related and when you see patterns between different courses it makes learning a lot more enjoyable. I like to draw real life comparisons to help digest complicated topics. I believe learning is done by the student and you learn from your mistakes, therefore, I am here to help you resolve those mistakes to ensure that you don't make them again, and if you do, its not a problem, we will keep catching them. I enjoy teaching and you never fully comprehend a topic unless you can explain it to someone else. I have been a student for over 8 years and I think I have been taught by so many different people, therefore, I can adapt my teaching plans to the environment at hand. I've helped many students complete their projects with top grades, my main tutoring has been helping students pass their A-Levels and more recently helping students achieve a upper second and first in their degree programmes. Over the last 4 years, I have supervised students throughout their undergraduate projects, mentoring them and supporting their needs. PhD, MSc, BSc in Chemistry. 3 A-levels (A*-B) and 15 GCSEs (A*-B). Really depends on the subject. For science it would be AQA, and Maths it would be Edexcel.
