My child had his first session with Alberto today. He really enjoyed it. He had a lightbulb moment, he finally understood an area of physics he never did in school, he feels it's never been explained to him and Alberto explained it in a great way. He is really looking forward to his next session.

Alberto has been excellent. His patience and enthusiasm means my son looks forward to their sessions. His support has really increased my son’s confidence at a time when he was considering leaving his course. Now he feels so much more comfortable with the subject. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him and we will be continuing to book regular sessions.

A question from Sherpa to Alberto B...
I have been tutoring Maths and Physics for the past four years - from GCSE and IB, to A Level and Degree level. I am passionate about helping students reach their learning goals, and about sharing my enthusiasm for Maths and Physics. With intuitive and personalised explanations, Maths and Physics can become much easier, more interesting, and (dare I say it!) even more fun! Throughout the past four years I have gained valuable academic and tutoring experience and training which has helped make me a better tutor. In terms of education, I have recently graduated from a Master's degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Glasgow with first class honours, and before this, I finished the IB programme at home in Spain. I started tutoring during my degree, and have since helped prepare students in GCSE courses, A-levels/ IB subjects and first and second year degree courses. I am more than happy to say all my students have passed their exams! For the past year, I have been employed as a tutor and demonstrator for the University of Glasgow to teach in tutorial sessions for first and second year Maths students, so I've had the opportunity to benefit from university training and experience, including teaching students with specific learning needs, so I'm confident we can work together to find the tutoring style and structure lessons in a way that works best for you. If you think I might be a good fit for your learning, I would love to hear from you and find out more about you, what your goals are, and what you hope to get from the lessons, so please don't hesitate to get in touch!
