A bit about Amrit

I teach Chemistry for both A-levels and GCSEs. The exam board I use for teaching A-levels is OCR A; the one for GCSEs is AQA. I also teach English at GCSE level, following the AQA specification. I am also open to teaching English to KS3 students. The Maths tutoring I provide is for KS3 students - to help prepare for the SATs and/or to build confidence in the subject. The children that I have taught love how engaging I am, and how I improve their understanding of a challenging subject with patience. They appreciate my ability to tailor lessons to their personality and learning styles - with a variety of resources and examples. My adaptability to each and every one of my students ensures a comfortable learning environment. One of the things that I love about being a tutor, is watching my students become confident in the subjects they were once afraid of. I love seeing them excel and feel content with their knowledge of the subjects they once hated. However, my favourite thing about being a tutor is feeling proud of how far they have come.
