A bit about Paul G

Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics for Maths and Further Maths A-level. I am a semi-retired Maths teacher with considerable experience of teaching Maths in state and independent schools. I am a former Head of Department and a current Edexcel examiner for A-level Maths. In recent years my teaching has focused entirely on A-level Maths and Further Maths. Edexcel, AQA and OCR (A). Years 12 and 13. Solving Maths problems can be like solving cryptic crosswords: bewildering to the vast majority of people until someone 'turns on the light' and begins to show us how it is done. Seeing a student's eyes light up when 'the light is turned on' is what makes teaching Maths so rewarding.
