I completed my TEFL course in Guildford, Surrey after finishing a BA degree in Politics & Spanish, also studying Economics at University of Valencia, Spain. I have over 23 years experience working around the world in private schools and onsite in companies, Airbus and CEPSA. I have recently done a Cambridge online teaching course to gain further knowledge of new teaching methodologies. I have extensive experience in preparing students for official language certificates including Cambridge exams and enjoy teaching all ages from young learners to adults. I have experience teaching ESP and have extensive knowledge of the aeronautical industry.
In my classes I use a flexible approach, focusing on my learners needs and planning the classes accordingly. Motivating my students to learn and gain results is my priority and I always look for ways to help students make learning part of their daily life.
I lived and worked in Spain for 20 years, and I believe that being bilingual helps me have a greater understanding of students learning a foreign language as, I too have been in that same situation. I can also tutor students in Spanish helping with GCSE and A level preparation.
I love teaching and learning new languages. I like classes to be fun as I think people learn and absorb more information when they are relaxed and enjoying classes.

How do lessons work?
All lessons take place through Sherpa's online, industry-leading classroom. This is a combination of a collaborative, real time whiteboard and a video call, like Zoom.
