A bit about Andrea P

I am caring and passionate about learning and I truly want to help you understand and do your best! English is accessible for everyone, even if you feel it’s really hard! My greatest success has been when students have started in my class saying they ‘hate English’ or ‘suck at it’ and by the end of their time with me they say ‘you made English fun’ or ‘you really helped me understand and accomplish something’. BA in English and History, 8 years teaching experience with KS3, GCSE and A-Level, an Education Degree, as well as an MA in Education and 4 years tutoring experience. I’m a Canadian living in England. I have a degree in English and absolutely love teaching my subject. I also love travelling, meeting new people and trying new things. I wanted to share my love of reading and to help students that don’t enjoy English to discover the joy it can bring.
