A bit about Zainab M

Hello, I am a super friendly and engaging science and maths tutor who has been teaching for 7 years. I am currently studying Dentistry and have lots of tips and tricks on how to ace your exams. I have a strong background in maths and science, and am very experienced with all GCSE exam boards for both triple and combined science. I also teach the complete A-Level Biology course, including essay writing. I usually spend the first 30 minutes going through a topic with step-by-step analyses and diagrams to help students learn the content. I then spend the remainder of the lesson working with the student in practicing past paper questions to test themselves and find their strengths and weaknesses. I have been tutoring consistently, both in-person and online since 2016 doing a mixture of 1-1 sessions and group work. I love to tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style and make the content fun for students to learn. I find it really rewarding when students gain confidence throughout the lessons and improve in their work, whilst also finding the lessons enjoyable. I like to start off by asking each student how they prefer to learn as that can vary between individuals. I also love to use diagrams and clear bullet points to simplify ideas and make them more digestible.
