I am a highly experienced and qualified English teacher (PGCE with QTS). I specialise in AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR for GCSE and A-level. I have extensive experience in education, including a leadership role as Head of English, where I designed curricula to instil a passion for learning. As an SEMH Tutor, I provided one-on-one English tutoring with a child-centred approach, successfully re-engaging students and nurturing their enthusiasm for education. In my capacity as a private English tutor, I delivered personalised lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, concentrating on enhancing their confidence and improving their academic performance. have consistently helped students achieve significant progress, often improving their grades by 3-4 levels. However, my true accomplishment lies in cultivating a deep appreciation for English, which naturally enhances students' understanding of fundamental concepts and skills. I am passionate about inspiring young people to enjoy English and derive value and meaning from their studies. During my degree and as a tutor I have taught a range of texts.
