Dedicated and ambitious teacher with 6 years of experience in both secondary and further education settings. I am adept at motivating students and promoting effective learning by setting clear tasks and challenging but attainable goals. Some qualities that I feel I have to offer students include skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. I believe that other characteristics I have to offer are effective teaching including an engaging classroom presence, value in real-world learning, exchange of best practices and a lifelong love of learning. I am excited by the opportunity to work within an innovative, successful role. I look forward to utilizing the experience I have to help students achieve the best they can and set them up for their futures in society. I am looking for new challenges, more responsibility, and a rewarding role that brings me job satisfaction everyday. I really enjoy helping students who struggle with mainstream education to achieve their goals. I have supported and put extra effort into some students who were about to leave without a grade. But with one to one support, extra time and effort, they managed to turn it around and gained the qualification they required to progress to their next steps in education. I am currently a tutor for a small group of students who struggle with mainstream and really need that extra support and care to achieve.
