A bit about Louise S

My name is Louise I have a first class masters in Biochemistry and I am currently a Chemistry teacher at a sixth form college and have 5 years experience teaching and tutoring across a range of exam boards. I can teach Biology up to GCSE level and Chemistry from GCSE through to A-Level. My teaching style is relaxed and friendly. I like to make my students feel on a level with me. I like to break down difficult topics and go back to the basics in some cases before building up to more difficult ideas. I am a firm believer in coloured notes and organisation and will get my students notes organised from day one. In my opinion this really helps with revision and keeping topics clear. I have had students come to me who have moved their grade from a 7 to a 9 meaning they were accepted on to A-Levels to begin their journey to study medicine. I have had other students who never thought they’d even pass sail through with grades higher than they’d ever thought!
