** Easter Holiday sessions available Weeks 7 and 14th April - See availability** I am a fully qualified teacher of 20+ years and Chemistry specialist (to PhD level). I am also a current Examiner for Chemistry A Level, and I teach all the main UK exam boards. I have worked across a number of schools at a middle leadership level, where I have gained considerable teaching experience with students (11-18 ages) across the entire ability range. I enjoy the hands on nature of my subject and the interactions I have with students supporting their development towards reaching their potential. I also currently mark A-level Chemistry examination scripts for an exam board in England. I have been tutoring students online for the last eight years. The majority of my tutoring time is focused on A-level Chemistry (OCR A, OCR B Salters, AQA and EDEXCEL examination boards) followed by GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics (OCR, AQA and EDEXCEL) and GCSE Mathematics (OCR, AQA and EDEXCEL). I adopt an interactive and relaxed online tutoring style, working with students to develop their skills, confidence and subject knowledge. I have assembled a considerable range of materials to support students whatever their particular needs on any topic area. I first graduated with a BSc in Chemistry followed by an MSc in Analytical Chemistry. I completed my PhD in 1998 (synthesis and characterisation of superconducting materials) and worked as a researcher in the USA and UK before entering the teaching profession in 2003.
