A bit about Jackie N

I specialise in teaching all aspects of English reading and writing skills: essay writing and exam technique, particularly for 7 and 11 plus and GCSE students. I am an experienced and successful English tutor. English is at the corner stone of all academic learning and my passion is to help students reach their full potential by teaching a full range of skills in reading, writing and communication to students in the UK and Europe. As a qualified SENCO I also tutor students who need extra support or who face additional challenges. I teach year groups 4 - 11. I successfully tutor for entrance exams (7,11 and 13 plus) as well as AQA and Edexcell GCSE exam boards. Knowing that it is the basis of all communication and features in every academic subject and therefore will improve the outcomes of all of my students! My teaching philosophy is to keep the student at the heart of everything I do and have a positive approach to every session. There are no wrong answers in my lessons, just good ideas.
