A bit about Dr. A

I started tutoring in 1994 and have been tutoring and teacher training, and working in educational management. I have worked for Colleges, Universities, and in Schools, teaching and carrying out educational research. Moreover, I am published in the fields of education and psychology. I specialize in teaching Psychology, Sociology, Literature and Language. I am familiar with most Exam board syllabus and recent updates. I also teach the AP Psychology course. In addition to this, I support students writing their college essays, and personal statements and prepare students for college interviews. I also love to teach the little ones English to give them a good head start in life. I have particular experience in dealing with nervous, disaffected and vulnerable students due to my Doctorate in clinical psychology. My clients have generally achieved A grades and have often risen from a level 3 to a level 8 in their English exams,Moreover, many students who disliked a subject have reported enjoying it after receiving my tuition. I have a great passion in teaching Psychology and English.I often look for new techniques and have presented many times at educational conferences in the UK, Korea, and the USA. Moreover, I am an artist and love to hike in the English Lake District. I am also a qualified naturopath and hypnotherapist. I like to be flexible and offer late evening and weekend times as well as weekday. I love teaching people of any age and have enjoyed teaching in other cultures, paricularly South Korean, Chinese, and Malaysian..
