A bit about Ali K

I am a graduate of the LSE (MSc Economic History, 2001). Since then I have been working in the education sector with a vast amount of experience in private schools, including Box Hill (Surrey), Ealing Independent College (London) and Oak House (Barcelona). I am also an experienced private tutor of Economics and Business Studies with over 19 years of experience. I pride myself in the passion I bring to the table while building a rapport with student. This creates a successful partnership between the student and the tutor. Economics from GCSE to A-level and IB Business Studies from GCSE to A-level and IB Maths up to KS4 I first started tutoring in 2002. With my experience, I can quickly see the strengths and weaknesses of my students and then formulate a strategy to achieve the highest grade possible (usually in a short space of time). A large majority of my students have achieved grades which were at least 2 grade points above their starting point (eg from grade 4 to 6 for IB or from grade C to A/A* for A-levels). Exam boards: Edexcel WJEC AQA OCR and IB Age range: 12-20 year olds
