A bit about Edmond A

I am familiar with the AQA, Edexcel and OCR curricula. . I have thought Science subjects (physics, chemistry and biology) to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key stage 5 students, preparing them for GCSE and A levels exams. I use different methods of assessment when I am teaching to ensure engagement and good attainment of pupils. I use a range of self-assessment strategies in my classrooms to encourage students to reflect and improve their own work and identify gaps in their knowledge. I hold a degree in Physical Science, Chemistry major and a master’s in environmental science. I have also completed a postgraduate (PGCE) course in education and gained my qualified teacher status from the Yorkshire and Humber Teacher’s Training and the University of Hull. I am currently, a science teacher in a mainstream school in the United Kingdom. I plan and teach my lessons with the abilities of my students in mind, thus, my teaching style may vary depending on the ability of my student. My focus is mainly to build the confidence of my students so that they will be able to access their learning with confidence, joy and self-pride. I am able to consistently set goals that motivates, enthuse and challenge all pupils including those with special needs and high attaining pupil, so that they can achieve and exceed their potential.
