I use up to date research and studies to ensure I’m providing the most effective lessons that will allow my pupils to engage, remember and enjoy my lessons. I love to apply difficult concepts to everyday situations or events that make understanding easier for the student. I always try to include humour as I have found this increases the amount of information a student can retain. I like to start out with exam questions to get an idea of where the student is working at and what areas need some support before progressing on. I use a spaced repetition philosophy allowing more retention then teaching a topic and not re-covering it. I hand tailor all my my lessons to the students specific needs and try to make sure what I am providing is the most effective for that student.
