A bit about Laura S

Before I was a teacher, I was a teaching assistant and I saw that the children's social and emotional needs were often being compromised to 'get on' with the lessons. This made me want to become a teacher who made time for students to understand themselves and others - a vital part of life. My favourite thing to do is to watch live shows (dance, musicals and comedies). I also like doing things I haven't done before to gain experiences. As a mindfulness activity, I enjoy crafts, particularly scrap books. 'Be the best version of you'. I am incredibly passionate about you being you and not comparing yourself to others. All I ask is for you to try your best, it doesn't matter how many times we have to go over things-that's my job to find ways you understand. You only learn things you didn't know. I am a qualified teacher specialising in ages 7-11 therefore teaching all subjects such as: Maths, English, Science, PSHE, Music, Geography, History, Religious Education etc.
