Here to support the next generation of Mathematicians
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
Through the running of KS3 Maths, my biggest success is raising the standard of education through what is taught and how is it sequenced and assessed in the Maths department. Through the altering of the curriculum and assessment, both teachers and students have been able to understand what they need to do to identify the areas they need to develop. Facilitaing a metacognitive way of thinking and developing teachers so that they are able to do this has allowed me to have the biggest impact on learning within my school.
I am the head of KS3 Maths which is shaped by the National Curriculum which shapes students to be excellent mathematicians and problem solvers. At GCSE and A-level, I am able to teach all of the main exam boards with outstanding results on the exam board Edexcel.
I truly believe that there is no such thing as a natural mathematician as nobody is born with the ability to do linear algebra. Maths can be seen as all of these huge complex ideas and formulas but in reality, it is a lot of tiny, simple steps which all come together to achieve huge ideas. These tiny steps are comprehensible to anyone. Anyone has the ability to become a great mathematician through consistency, hard work and the right support.
