An enthusiastic and passionate History and Politics teacher
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a History and Politics teacher at a local all-boys secondary school teaching from year 7 up to 13.
I am looking to tutor History and Politics up to A-Level.
I graduated from the University of Winchester in 2016 where I attained Upper Second Class Honours in History, specialising in early twentieth century United States foreign policy and inter-war British society and culture.
I qualified as a teacher from the University of Reading with a PGCE specialism in secondary school history. I am extremely passionate about all things History and this is reflected in both my tutoring style and my breadth of knowledge.
I currently teach the Edexcel exam board at GCSE and AQA for both A-Level History and Politics though I have had experience teaching the AQA GCSE
Though comfortable with a wide range of historical periods and themes, my areas of specialism are;
Both World Wars
Inter-war Britain and Appeasement
20th Century Britain
Britain in Europe
American Civil Rights
The American South
United States Foreign Policy 1898 - 1945
The Cold War
The United States and Japan
United States government and politics
UK government and politics
