I am a very experienced qualified teacher offering tuition in Maths and English from Primary to GCSE. I cover Edexcel and AQA exam boards for both English and Maths. With extensive experience in teaching SEMH and SEND students, Functional Skills, and English as an Additional Language (EAL), I am well-equipped to cater to a full range of needs and abilities. I primarily tutor students aged 11-16, but I can also assist with SATs for Year 6 students, as well as GCSE re-takes and Functional Skills for Post-16 learners. In English, I have expertise in teaching/ tutoring GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature for Edexcel and AQA Boards. In Literature, the texts I teach include Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, An Inspector Calls, Animal Farm, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, A Christmas Carol and two Poetry Anthologies: Power and Conflict and Love and Relationships. I specialise in helping students who need to secure a grade 4 or 5 in English. In Maths, I am familiar and have access to all Edexcel exam materials for GCSE. In my current role, I am converting to become a Maths Teacher and therefore I undertake a plethora of training alongside teaching and tuition practice, especially to secure the Higher Tier curriculum content's knowledge. For the Foundation Tier I have plenty of experience and excellent results both within school and through tuition.
