A bit about Mary A

Hi there! I am a qualified TEFL teacher and also an enthusiastic and highly experienced English literature and Language teacher. My teaching abilities range from ESL, I live in London with my daughter and my cat. In my spare time I read a lot! Some of my favourite literature pieces are Wuthering Heights, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and A Clockwork Orange I also love going to the theatre, cooking, camping and parachuting. I am also Company Stage Manager for a successful Theatre company specializing in Shakespeare and new writing. I specialise in teaching English as a Foreign Language, as well as teaching English Language and Literature to native speakers across all levels. My students range from 6 years old, to adults. My lessons are always detailed and engaging and, I hope, fun! I take time to get to know my students so that I can ascertain their weaker and stronger areas in order to make sure each lesson is tailor made for them so that they receive the best learning experience. I love teaching because I love English Language and Literature. I have always believed that if a teacher is passionate about the subject they are teaching, they will pass this on to their students. I very much enjoy meeting students from all across the world, and I often learn just as much from them as they do from me.
